I headed up the team and managed the day-to-day running of a busy studio, resourcing additional freelance support when required. My responsibilities included creating and managing the weekly planners and I also ensured the department’s timesheets were kept up to date. To facilitate the smooth running of the agency’s workflow, I regularly liaised with all account handlers and project managers across the business and advised on the briefing of projects into the studio. I was also responsible for trafficking multiple briefs from all the agency’s clients, adhering to tight deadlines while checking that every piece of work was on brand and followed CI. Importantly, I still found the time to be creative and was always keen to stay hands-on with the work. To this end, I introduced regular brainstorm sessions on creative projects to develop additional concepts with my team.

I joined Adworks in 2009 and migrated my client base from Turncreative. With specific experience in creating strong creative workflows and processes for both new and existing clients. I combined a strong eye for design with the ability to effectively run a fast paced creative studio across a variety of sectors. And I pride myself on having excellent project and people management skills. My main account for a number of years has been Epson where I have been in sole charge of all EMEAR and CIS packaging.

From a start up “bedroom business”, I created a successful and well respected design agency, providing quality creative solutions in both print and web, great service and on-going account management. I was extremely proud of the business and have an extensive portfolio of work, industry knowledge and a loyal client base. We serviced a wide range of industry sectors and support businesses of varying sizes.

I spent 2 year at this fast growing design agency, gaining valuable knowledge and furthering my skills in graphic deisign and account management. I was a valued member of the team and orchastrated the day to day running of the studio and ensuring deadlines where met. I left my position to create my own agency.

I returned to Hill Solomon after redundancy at Screen Entertainment and rejoined in a higher position.

I was part of the small team that worked on and created CD, DVD and software sleeves and literature for the UK and USA market.

From my B.A. Hons, I joined this agency as a Junior Designer working on a variety of small and large projects. It was a great, hard working insight to working in a studio and on major national brands. I left to gain more knowledge.
